In consideration of being accepted into the Art Fair at Woodland Park, I hereby release and forever discharge the Lexington Art League, the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, all sponsoring businesses, organizations and their directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers and successors from any responsibility, personal liability, claims, loss or damage arising out of my participation in the Fair. I further consent to the enforcement of all rules as set forth on the Woodland Art Fair's website and all subsequent correspondence.
I agree and acknowledges that the Artwork consigned to the LAL pursuant to this Agreement may be photographed and reproduced for LAL publications, publicity, and educational purposes.
I also agree to abide by the following rules, or risk forfeiture of my exhibition rights:
I agree to abide by the rules of the Load-Out policy.
All exhibited work must be original in concept and must have been created by the accepted artist. COMMERCIAL OR IMPORTED ITEMS, ITEMS MADE FROM KITS, OR MASS-PRODUCED ITEMS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. Any person exhibiting work that has any resemblance to such items is subject to immediate dismissal from the show.
Each exhibitor's work will be screened by the Fair Committee members during the Fair. Exhibitors found not to be in compliance will be asked to remove the unacceptable items, or, in extreme cases, risk forfeiture of all rights as an exhibitor, including the closing of the booth, with no refund of fees. Exhibitors displaying unprofessional behavior may be removed from the show. The judgment of the Committee will be final, and no refunds will be given.
Meeting the artists and learning about their work is very important to our patrons. Therefore, artists accepted for participation must be present for the entire duration of the Fair. No agents, dealers, or representatives may attend in place of the artist. This includes spouses, relatives, etc. At check-in, a Photo ID may be required.
High quality reproductions of original art may be sold, but must not comprise more than 25% of exhibited work or occupy more than 25% of the booth space. INTENT TO DISPLAY REPRODUCTIONS MUST BE CLEARLY STATED ON THE APPLICATION. Reproductions must be properly signed and numbered. Reproductions may not be hung on the walls of the booth, but must be displayed in bins. Only original artwork may be displayed on booth walls.
Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting all taxes.
Exhibitors may not share booth space unless both artists submit an application and are accepted, nor may exhibitors sublet or apportion space to anyone else.
Exhibitors must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid photo I.D.
The LAL encourages a pet-free event. Do not bring pets with you to the show unless you must be accompanied by a service animal.
